Role
Who you are
- A track record of strong performance early in your career (top 10%-20% of the sales org) quota attainment successfully selling in 100 < 4000 FTE segment, typical deal sizes sold $30,000 - $150,000 ARR
- You can demonstrate a keen interest in the frontier of AI, including the applications of Large Language Models and GenAI
- Solutioning: ability to develop and articulate an AI solution vision to technical and business stakeholders to match value proposition and business needs
- PG mindset. Pipeline generation is everything, but you know that already. You’ll have GTM enablement, BDR resource, and all the tools you could wish for. It’s you that makes the difference though, so we expect you to be a PG stalwart. You’re excited to get out there and gather leads, call people, and attend in-person events
- Thrived as a another fast-paced SaaS startup or scale-up during a high-growth phase
- Grit: A proven track record of achieving short and long term goals, through determination and a positive mindset
- Know the gold standard: You’re hugely curious and are constantly learning and working on honing your sales craft
- Preferred to have: sold an emerging solution in Gen AI, Large Language Models, Machine Learning, MLOps or Data Analytics
- Preferred to have: STEM background or a solid understanding of STEM subjects
What the job involves
- As an Account Executive, you will drive pipeline and win business selling a suite of V7 products
- This roles gives you ownership of the full sales cycle, targeting commercial accounts ranging from 100 < 5,000 FTEs
- Full sales cycle management: from prospecting, deep qualification, delivering demos, proof of concept (often in collaboration with Solutions Engineers) to closing net new deals
- Pipeline Generation: dedicate at least 30% of your time to self generating pipeline activities, ensuring a continuous flow of opportunities. You will have access to top of line sales tech stack including Apollo, Gong and Hubspot
- Solution Sales: Engage with prospects and customers to understand their complex data and technical requirements, crafting and selling tailored solutions with typically 3-month sales cycles
- Multi-Threading: Develop comprehensive business cases and establish multiple champions within each target organization, ensuring broad support for our solutions across diverse stakeholders both technical and business
- AI product expertise: become a trusted advisor on V7 products, educating customers on the transformative potential of our AI solutions in the multi Large Language Models era
- Cross functionally partnership with Sales Development, Customer Success, Solution Engineering, and technical teams to support your deals and ensure customer delight and ROI
- Own a vertical - CEO style. Lead the charge in shaping and expanding V7's footprint, playing a part revolutionizing the way AI integrates into specific industries

Our take
AI is currently utilised across multiple industries, requiring companies to continuously collect, organise, and label image data so that AI models can adapt to new scenarios. However, the responses they get from AI can easily fall into the simple back-and-forth of chatbots. V7 is changing this through developing AI agents that simulate how humans reason through problems, reducing errors, increasing reliability, and linking the outcome back to its original data source. All of this amounts to vision-based AI models that learn continuously and with minimal human supervision.
V7's Go platform can ingest documents, images and text and boil them down to AI-solvable steps. Alongside automating mundane tasks, the Go platform has a user interface that supports customised workflows - all with no code required. The company says that using only 100 human-annotated examples in its toolkit, it can label the rest of the training data autonomously. Although it found its first customers in medicine and health sciences, its product is being picked up by everyone from tech companies to asset managers and law firms.
With the launch of V7 Go, the company is taking a bold leap into business automation, making powerful AI easy for everyday users. Backed by big-name customers, strong accuracy results, and 2022's Series A investment round, V7 is very much ready to become a major player in the future of work.
