Who you are
- We are interested in a team player who is looking to learn and develop in the world of brand partnerships while also being a vital contributor right away

- They must have the ability to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely, both written and verbally, and think outside of their direct sphere of responsibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or, marketing, related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
- The ability to understand complex organizations, identify and build relationships with key stakeholders, and understand/strengthen processes and workflows
- Willingness to travel, both domestic and international
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and navigate complex situations with empathy
- Willingness to learn the ins and outs of the esports and gaming industry, including staying up-to-date on the latest trends
- A hunger to learn and a ‘no task is too small’ attitude
- Knowledge of mobile gaming and esports ecosystems is a plus as is supporting brands and/or experience delivering events
What the job involves
- We are looking to hire a Junior Partner Manager of Brand Partnerships to join us by supporting our North American Partner Management team
- As a Junior Partner Manager of Brand Partnerships, you will work on a team that oversees EFG’s global portfolio of brand partners
- You will work collaboratively with partners, the sales team, and the product and event teams to support high-quality sponsorship programs across global esports events and gaming festivals
- This position will be based in the United States and reports to our VP Partner Management
- Support the partner management team on ESL FACEIT Group’s largest global partners by helping implement their sponsorship programs
- Work across global product and event teams to gather information and streamline communication, resulting in successful partnership execution
- Become the eyes and ears of the partnership, ensuring that notes are taken for all internal and external meetings, as well as tracking that sponsorship deliverables are fulfilled
- Lead on partner materials - including but not limited to partnership trackers, recap decks, partnership overview documentation, and more
- Maintain knowledge of and manage expectations surrounding event timelines and deadlines
- Ensure the highest quality implementation of partnership programs through delivery of in-broadcast, online, and on-site partnership entitlements
- Communicate the progress of partner initiatives to internal stakeholders
- Track key account metrics/prepare reports on account status
- Support for both account lead and the Vice President of Partner Management on special projects
- Perform other duties, functions, responsibilities, projects and assist as necessary
Our take
Young people are increasingly turning away from traditional media, and gaming has in recent years become a professional spectator sport that draws huge online crowds. FACEIT is a competitive gaming platform that allows developers to run their own online tournaments, providing ranking charts, skill-based matchmaking and anti-cheat software to ensure that these events are as fair as any traditional sporting competition.
The esports market is projected to be worth about £4.5 billion globally by 2030, and FACEIT has attracted large scale investments as it continues to innovate in this market. Not all of its moves have panned out - for instance its foray into crypto gaming in 2022 could have come at a better time, but its pivot to non-intrusive in-game advertising has been well received by developers and is a testament to the adaptability of the company.
FACEIT is continuing to release and support new gaming products, for instance a car racing tournament released in colloboration with RENNSPORT, where established esports teams and car manufacturers will compete for a prize pool of €500,000. An Overwatch tournament launched in 2024 with a cash prize pool of $170,000. As the esports market shows no sign of slowing down, FACEIT will remain in a strong position to grow alongside it.
