Role
Who you are
- Experience working at early-stage startups
- Strong examples of written documentation and/or educational videos
- Ability to balance user needs with business requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate product decisions
- Data-driven approach to product with experience using analytics tools
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work autonomously
- Very comfortable in tools such as Posthog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc
- Very comfortable working cross-functionally
- Experience with AI-powered tools is a plus
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- 1+ years of experience at early-stage startups
- Experience working directly with teams and stakeholders
What the job involves
- We are seeking an individual skilled in writing, analytics & onboarding
- You'll have the opportunity to think deeply about Endear's 3 major customer stakeholders: corporate admins, store managers & sales associates
- Your job will be to help each of them go from zero-to-one in Endear
- Questions you'll answering and designing around include: "What should someone's first 30 days on Endear look like?" & "How do we make it easy for each stakeholder to do what they need to on a daily basis"
- Help documentation, videos & any other content necessary to provide an excellent onboarding experience
- Ongoing content calendars relevant to our customers to ensure they have fresh, timely & relevant content to send to their customer-base
- User research and testing initiatives
- Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, sales, and account management teams
- UX improvements driven by customer feedback and data
- As one of our first content & onboarding hires, you'll have unprecedented opportunity to shape our product's future
- You'll work directly with design & engineering to develop a highly effective onboarding process having significant impact on a product used by thousands of retail professionals daily
- We're processing billions of data points and building high-converting experiences that need thoughtful, scalable design solutions
Our take
Endear offers retail sales teams a CRM, analytics, and messaging platform to help open conversations that lead to sales. This clienteling app aims to help personalize the shopping experience, allowing retailers to digitally cultivate individual customer relationships.
Endear are keen to present clienteling as a forward-looking retail solution. With many brands and storefronts moving online, companies have had to adapt to new methods of customer outreach and retention. Competition seems even fiercer when considering how marketplaces like Amazon and Shopify facilitate easy browsing and price comparison. The aim is that fostering clientele relations offers a non-standard, and therefore appealing and attention-grabbing, way of netting a strong customer base.
Certainly e-commerce customers at large are showing a marked preference for personalized service. And this approach is a great way of cultivating the kind of emotional connection that creates customers with high lifetime value for the company. With much to play for as online retail becomes an increasingly popular shopping method, clienteling may prove an attractive and lucrative strategy to sell.
