Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of corporate sustainability strategies and comes from a similar position in the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM), or brings combined experience in CSR and sales, possibly with documented sales leadership experience
- Proven success in business development and scaling a sales function
- Experience in sustainability, ideally in the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) and with nature-based carbon solutions
- Eagerness to take responsibility for building out the sales organization, motivating the sales team, and growing into such a role, or documented experience in this area
- Confident networker with consultative and social-selling skills aimed at senior stakeholders in mid-sized and large companies
- Self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility and excitement for the potential growth within our startup
- Familiar with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales (automation) tools
- Creative, collaborative, and action-oriented mindset with a "hands-on" approach
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
- Based in Austria or Germany, with the ability and willingness to travel when necessary (e.g., to major clients, events, trade shows, meetups, WEF Davos, etc.)
What the job involves
- As a Sales Manager (f/m/x), you will be responsible for the entire B2B sales process, from prospecting to closing
- You'll engage with potential carbon credit buyers and build strong relationships to successfully guide clients through the sales pipeline
- You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside the team on an innovative go-to-market strategy in a dynamic and rapidly growing market
- Business Development: Identify potential carbon credit buyers and reseller partners, establish connections, nurture and qualify leads to expand our pipeline
- Sales: Take ownership of our sales pipeline, converting leads into customers to drive our revenue growth and expand our reach across the DACH region
- Partnerships: Build and develop relationships throughout the carbon buyer ecosystem with partners, resellers, and influencers to grow our overall network and business
- Innovation: Explore creative ways to reach potential clients, from developing sales materials to testing new GTM channels in collaboration with our awesome marketing team
- Customer Insights: Share customer and market insights to support product development and assist marketing in go-to-market (GTM) efforts, working closely with them
- Processes: Design and streamline sales concepts and methods using tools and automation to drive scalable sales processes (Note: HubSpot is already in operation)

The company develops initiatives to mitigate climate change by leveraging local forests, collaborating with forest owners, municipalities and corporations to enhance the effectiveness of these projects.
