Role
Who you are
- Experience in selling to the C-Suite & thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on a specific function or industry
- 5+ years of sales experience within software OR solutions sales organization
- Experience establishing trusted relationships with current and prospective clients and other teams at executive and cabinet level within the US Federal Government
- Experience producing new business, negotiating deals, and maintaining healthy Program Director relationships
- Understanding of agency mission and prior experience of selling to an agency's mission is highly preferred.
- Experience achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Experience promoting a customer success focus in a "win as a team" environment
- Willingness to travel up to 60%
What the job involves
- As an Enterprise SLED Account Executive, you will be responsible for new business acquisition and client management within the State, Local, and Education Agencies.
- You will accomplish this through strategic account and territory planning, thorough research of prospective customers, targeted business development, and direct field-based sales activities within your defined territory, vertical, or set of prospects. Moveworks stands alone as the sole agentic AI platform available in the FedRAMP® Marketplace
- Develop relationships with multiple Program Directors within SLED agencies and Offices, as well as partners within the Moveworks GTM ecosystem
- Manage overall client relationship,including orchestrating an account strategy across a broad virtual team (Solutions Consultants, Solutions Specialist, Success resources, Partners and Marketing, etc.) to ensure Moveworks value is being realized by customers
- As an Enterprise SLED Account Executive, drive relevant lines of Moveworks products to agency clients to ensure mission successServe as the agency's trusted advisor by understanding their mission and advising on how Moveworks can help enable their existing and future roadmap
Our take
Moveworks provides IT service and helpdesk support through an AI-driven chatbot. Its system utilizes information about an employee, such as their role and seniority level, to deliver the correct information or carry out processes. Moveworks claims to solve 30% of IT support tickets within weeks of implementation.
In 2024, Moveworks opened a data center in Australia and its service has seen strong uptake from large enterprise-level companies, where IT teams deal with hundreds of requests at a time, helping to minimize backlog and gain back employee time. As more and more workers move from office to home or hybrid, IT support requests have boomed, opening up the opportunity for Moveworks to expand its client pool and provide solutions to help with this change.
With its upcoming acquisition by ServiceNow, Moveworks is stepping into an exciting new chapter. Joining forces with ServiceNow means its AI assistant and enterprise search tools can reach even more employees and businesses, helping make everyday work tasks easier and faster. The deal also sets Moveworks up to be a key player in the future of workplace AI, showing that its technology is ready to grow and make an even bigger impact.
