Who you are

- 3+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, with a strong background in financial modeling, budgeting, and analysis
- Experience in high-growth SaaS environments

- Great communication and leadership skills, with experience managing and scaling teams
- Record of driving process improvements and implementing scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in using financial tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Pigment) to enhance financial planning and reporting
- Strong analytical skills, with a balance between strategic thinking and attention to detail
- CPA/CFA preferred
What the job involves
- We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Director, Corporate FP&A, reporting to the VP, FP&A, to lead our company-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Corporate FP&A is a critical function at Demandbase, serving as the central hub of the broader finance team, and playing a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, driving process optimization and efficiency, and delivering data-driven insights that influence key business decisions
- In this role, you will oversee financial processes, including Annual Planning, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial modeling, while partnering closely with tax, accounting, and departmental leaders to ensure financial alignment across the organization
- Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring and developing a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Your leadership will help shape Demandbase’s long-term financial strategy and contribute to the company’s overall growth and success
- Drive FP&A Processes: Take a hands-on approach and lead the company-wide financial planning process, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives
- Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor, partnering closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights that guide critical business decisions
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and manage complex financial models to evaluate company performance, support strategic initiatives, and explain variances between forecasts and actual results
- Performance Insights: Deliver timely and actionable financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to inform business leaders and influence performance
- Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvements in FP&A processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency, leveraging automation and financial tools to support the company’s growth
- Strategic Initiatives: Lead ad hoc projects, including M&A analysis, financial integrations, and other special initiatives
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and a focus on continuous improvement
