Who you are
- 5+ years of marketing experience
- Driven, hard-working, self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with copywriting, deck/asset creation, and an eye for design

What the job involves
- Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Director will be responsible for communicating the value of Bilt Rewards’ products and benefits to customers and partners
- You’ll be focused on developing and implementing clear and compelling product marketing strategies and messaging across touchpoints to educate our audience and activate key behaviors
- Manage product marketing strategy across new product and benefit launches through messaging development, asset creation, and customer journey strategy
- Ensure impactful, relevant, and consistent messaging related to existing products across all always-on customer channels, updating as the product evolves
- Create and maintain training & informational materials to educate and activate partners on both new and existing benefits/product features
- Partner cross-functionally to determine creative ways to bring Bilt’s products and benefits to life across our site, app, lifecycle channels, brand channels, media opportunities, experiences, and more
- Analyze campaign performance and use results to iterate on product marketing strategy
Our take
Millions of Americans participate in credit card programs that enable them to earn points from everyday spending. Bilt is a loyalty program that enables renters to earn points from what is typically their largest monthly outgoing: rent.
Landlords have long been unwilling to accept payment by credit card due to the high fees involved, an issue Bilt is tackling head-on. Within a few months of launching in mid-2021, Bilt was serving more than 2 million rental units. Whilst focusing on rent payments in the beginning, Bilt hopes to morph into an end-to-end service for renters looking to buy a home, which could eventually involve becoming a mortgage provider.
Bilt is targeting a lucrative market of 109 million renters in the US alone, with 4 million rental units using its platform. The company has secured impressive funding of more than $200 million led by General Catalyst Partners, which it is using to expand its Rewards Alliance programme - a partnership of multifamily, single family and student housing operators - alongside the local merchant focused Neighborhood Rewards program.
