Role
Who you are
- At least 5 years of experience in Software Development including knowledge of blockchain development, Polkadot Substrate and Rust programming language
- Proven experience in building and scaling web and mobile applications, with expertise in JavaScript, React, and either Swift or Kotlin
- Previous experience as a technical co-founder, or senior technology leader in a startup
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and managing a team of developers
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in clean energy or sustainable transportation / mobility is a huge plus
- Timezone of CET (+/- 2 hours) is a plus
What the job involves
- We are looking for an Enterpreneur-in-residence and co-founder to join our team and help us build and scale the platform
- The project is a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) which will be working together with an established manufacturer and a large stock of available devices (20.000)
- Its purpose is to revolutionize wireless infrastructure with a decentralized, blockchain-based model. Individuals and organizations can set up and manage their own LoRaWAN and 5G networks providing connectivity
- The individuals are incentivized through a token-based system
- Developing the overall technology strategy for the project, including selecting the appropriate technologies and tools to use
- Leading the development of the platform's blockchain modules, smart contracts, mobile application, web application, and website
- As the team grows, building and managing a team of developers to implement the platform's technology roadmap
- Ensuring that the platform's technology is secure, scalable, and reliable
- Working closely with the co-founder and other members of the executive team to define the company's overall strategy and direction
- Serving as a technical advisor to investors and other stakeholders
- Monitoring reliability and performance of all internal systems, ensuring compliance with security regulations and suggesting improvements
- Working with the product team to plan and oversee the execution of the product roadmap and contributing to designing strategies for future developments
- Ensuring our engineering team can deliver their best work by spotting and alleviating blockers, setting IT processes, coaching teammates, and setting the bar for technical excellence
