Who you are
- We’re seeking a driven, entrepreneurial New Business Associate Account Executive with 2–3 years of full-cycle closing experience to support enterprise growth within the Financial Services market
- This role is ideal for a high-energy seller who thrives in high-volume, high-velocity environments and has a proven track record of landing net-new logos
- 2 years + of B2B SaaS closing experience, with consistent overachievement against quota
- Proven success in new business acquisition and net-new logo wins
- Comfortable managing a high-volume pipeline with strong forecasting accuracy
- Experience selling into Financial Services (buy side or sell side) is advantageous
- Confident prospecting and cold calling to generate and progress opportunities
- Skilled in running value-based discovery and product demonstrations
- Strong communicator who can simplify complex solutions for diverse stakeholders
- Competitive, resilient, and motivated by targets in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player who works cross-functionally with Customer Success, and Product teams
- Experience carrying six-figure annual revenue targets preferred
- Willingness to travel to client meetings as needed
What the job involves
- You will play a key role in expanding our footprint across buy-side and sell-side financial institutions, partnering with a global sales team to drive new business revenue and accelerate market adoption of our award-winning SaaS platform
- Drive net-new business growth within a defined Financial Services territory
- Prospect, qualify, and close new logo opportunities across high-velocity sales cycles
- Manage a high-volume pipeline while maintaining strong deal control and forecast accuracy
- Conduct tailored product demonstrations and manage trial processes
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure smooth deal progression and strong client onboarding
- Share market feedback and competitive insights to support product and go-to-market strategy

Manual research can be a serious pain: financial analysts spend hours every week searching through PDFs one keyword at a time, just to find a single usable insight. To remedy this, AlphaSense has built a smart search engine that slashes research time for analysts, using thousands of sources and a semantic indexing layer that can effectively query finance-specific language.
As a disruptor and market leader in this field, AlphaSense has few direct competitors, being most closely compared to Wolfram Alpha or LexisNexis. It helps that its tools are undoubtedly effective and valued by knowledge professionals: the company counts about 85% of the S&P 100 as customers and is trusted by J.P.Morgan, Microsoft, Credit Suisse and Google, among other major enterprises.
Having raised a large amount of funding over 2022 and 2023, AlphaSense has moved quickly to double down on its expansion in European markets, opening an office in Berlin to support this. With 2024 seeing investment from Singaporean EDBI, it has now set its sights on the Asia-Pacific region. As business intelligence will remain key for enterprises as they compete for market share, AlphaSense is well-placed for additional future growth.
