• This role is ideal for a student with a foundational understanding of data engineering and visualization who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, real-world environment
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data
• Basic programming skills in Python, especially for data processing tasks. Experience with Pandas & NumPy is a plus
• Familiarity with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations
• Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric for building data pipelines is a strong plus
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail is important
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in English; German, French or Spanish is a plus

Desirable

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented working student to support our data reporting and analytics initiatives using Microsoft Azure and Power BI
• You will work closely with our reporting and analytics team to help build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and dashboards that drive business insights
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making
• Support the creation and monitoring of data pipelines using Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks using SQL, Python & REST APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports
• Document processes, data models, and reporting logic for internal knowledge sharing
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
