Who you are
- You have a good understanding of the Investment Management industry
- You have the ability to identify, analyse and resolve any complex issues working to strict deadlines
- You have good domain knowledge of investment platforms, particularly pensions and other tax wrappers
- You have strong communication and organisation skills with the ability to describe to both technical and non-technical audiences
What the job involves
- We’re looking for an Operations analyst to join our SIPP team
- You’ll work primarily within the SIPP area of our Operations team and be responsible for completing daily and monthly operational processes
- This ranges from processing pension benefits and producing regulatory reporting to investigating and resolving issues raised by our customers
- You’ll work closely with the rest of our Operations team and our customer teams to ensure operational processes and issues are resolved in line with agreed SLAs
- You’ll also use your knowledge to review and recommend process improvements and automation where possible, helping us build scalability for the engine of tomorrow
- On a typical day you will be…
- Supporting your Operations delivery lead with regular business reporting
- An analytical problem solver, delivery focussed and a trusted member of the team, you will support the wider business by answering queries in a timely manner
- Investigating and taking end to end ownership of our SIPP processes. Ensuring issues are resolved in line with regulatory and customer agreed SLAs
- Reviewing operational workflow and, where possible, suggesting process improvements
- Working closely with the customer, product and engineering teams to explore better ways of working and to support our scalability
- Supporting with training for new members of the team
- Supporting other areas of Operations as and when required
