Who you are

  • 10+ years of experience in design, with at least 2 years in leadership or managerial role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Cognitive Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite. Strong understanding of UX/UI principles
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing design teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. As the majority of stakeholders will be in the United States, strong English communication skills are a must. Ability to articulate design concepts and strategies clearly
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams across geographies
  • Problem-Solving: Creative thinker with the ability to approach problems from multiple angles and find innovative solutions

What the job involves

  • As the Design Manager at ZoomInfo, you will play a crucial role in building and mentoring a high-quality design team
  • Your team will be responsible for producing effective designs that align with our global standards and leverage our design system
  • You will ensure that the team takes clear direction, collaborates effectively, and delivers impactful design solutions
  • Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of talented designers. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and high performance
  • Design System Utilization: Champion the use of our design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across all design outputs
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and marketing to align design objectives with business goals
  • Quality Assurance: Implement processes to maintain the highest design quality, including regular reviews and feedback sessions
  • Direction & Clarity: Provide clear and actionable design direction to the team, ensuring alignment with project goals and company vision
  • Professional Development: Invest in the professional growth of team members through continuous learning opportunities and constructive feedback
