Technical expertise: You have already worked several years with development and you're experienced in embedded languages, for example, C and C++, and you have preferably professional experience with RTOS

What the job involves

Tibber works in the area of IoT and we produce some of our own hardware from scratch which is what you would get to do here
You will be using languages such as C, C++, and Python and you will program in RTOS frameworks for ESP32 and Silicon Labs. In other words, this position offers you to get deeper into the exciting field of IoT

Our take

The average household today is in a position to purchase electricity from a range of suppliers, but classically will only buy from one. Tibber supplies an AI for households to purchase energy from a number of suppliers, at the best prices at the best time of day, to reduce their electricity costs, alongside helping them to reduce usage in their homes.

The platform was built as a response to outdated utility management tools. Users access the service via an app, with the AI purchasing electricity automatically at the lowest possible price, as well as alerting customers to consume energy during the cheapest hours of the day.

The Tibber hub for smart homes is able to connect various energy sources, such as solar panels and EV chargers, to enable more intelligent electricity production as well as consumption. The company has seen huge amounts of investment, serves hundreds of thousands of households, and has its sights set on continued expansion across Europe.
