Who you are
- 3+ years of talent acquisition experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Experience creating a strong, established recruiting brand
- Experience with ATS, Greenhouse preferred
- A passion for hiring and onboarding new team members at a fast-growing start-up
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done in a high-growth, constantly changing environment
- Ability to operate with autonomy in high degrees of ambiguity
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
- A positive and engaging attitude, and strong sense of ethics and integrity
What the job involves
- Manage full life-cycle recruiting in Greenhouse applicant tracking system, uplifting a robust and representative pipeline of candidates for assigned openings via inbound applications and passive candidate sourcing
- Responsible for creating, updating, and optimizing job postings on various sites to accurately reflect business needs
- Collaborate with hiring managers and finance team to prepare, negotiate, and extend offer packages
- Source perspective candidates from various platforms including LinkedIn, Indeed, ATS, Craigslist, etc; research local talent markets to uncover new avenues for talent engagement and capture competitive intelligence to improve long-term recruitment tactics
- Support scheduling candidate interviews in a prompt and efficient manner; ensure timely interview feedback from ByHeart interviewers to support best-in-class candidate experience and efficient time to hire
- Serve as a guide to assist hiring managers in creating inclusive job descriptions and efficient and consistent interview plans
- Establish processes to optimize the recruiting lifecycle and candidate experience, measuring outcomes from such process improvements
- Liaison with the marketing team to build out the ByHeart recruitment brand, recruiting materials and ByHeart LinkedIn and Careers Page
- Track and improve company-wide time to hire to increase hiring velocity and efficacy
- Train interviewers on interviewing best practices to support an inclusive hiring process; provide real-time feedback on feedback to interviewers and hiring managers to support robust and data-rich interview feedback
- Plan and run recruitment fairs onsite to address open needs and represent ByHeart at local hiring events to increase candidate awareness and potential talent pools
