Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience in a SaaS organization
- Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Clear examples of partnering with AEs to run technical deal cycles with Enterprise customers
- A consultative approach with solving your customer’s business challenges and having a track record of successfully overcoming technical and security objections
- Familiarity with any cloud environment (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Proficiency in Python or Java
- Ability to configure, monitor and maintain API based integrations
What the job involves
- Glean is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive (Central) to drive new business and expansion across the Central region
- You will own the full sales cycle—from pipeline generation through close—partnering closely with Sales Engineering to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals with C-level executives
- Taking a consultative, value-based approach, you’ll translate customer challenges into tailored solutions, run compelling evaluations, and build clear ROI and business cases
- This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role that collaborates cross-functionally to champion customer needs and accelerate adoption of Glean
- Partner with Account Executives to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles with C-level executives
- Create and demo custom environments based off of customer industry and line of business
- Run and manage a technical POC cycle
- Perform customer facing activities including technical discovery calls
- Lead security based conversations to make customers comfortable with Glean’s security posture
- Work cross functionally with product and engineering to deliver customer request and be a voice of the customer
- Develop ROI and business justification reports and presentations

Glean is an intuitive digital assistant which allows employees to search across all their apps and find the information and tools that they need more quickly.
With so many SaaS apps being used by modern day companies, overwhelm and inefficiency inevitably enter the equation. Glean’s search engine is proving popular for how it unifies and centralizes all these distributed tools and data.
It’s been quite a start to life at Glean, having emerged from stealth in 2021, it received a $1B valuation in early 2022, thus achieving unicorn status. Since then, the company has gone on to raise substantial funding and bring its valuation up to $7.2B in 2025. With this impressive growth, its secured some big name customers like Grammarly, databricks, and Rubrik.
That Glean was co-founded by a quartet with senior experience at Google, Microsoft, Uber, and Facebook stands the company in good stead. However, it’s the fact that its search engine is solving a new, but very real problem in the workplace that’s seen its popularity surge so quickly, which it’s likely to continue to do in the future. And its adaptability to include new AI capabilities to its platform, such as generative AI, has Glean well set to see further growth.
