Role
Who you are
- We’re still a startup, so we all roll up our sleeves when needed — but here’s what you can generally expect from the role:
- You are excited about AI assistants, machine learning and letting people interact with machines through text and speech
- You are an experienced self-starter who works well with little supervision
- You should be able to use your unique personality, creativity and grit to expand our pipeline with new high profile prospects while working with our key customers to increase Rasa’s adoption
- 5+ years experience in sales; enterprise software preferred
- A proven track record of selling large deals to Global 2000 enterprises (top 10% performance) and CAC40 enterprises
- Have carried and hit quota of >$1.0M in previous positions
- Have closed complex sales cycles in competitive markets
- Demonstrated the ability to build pipeline from scratch
- Have the ability to create and maintain relationships from user to executive
- Have a creative hunter mentality with a passion for customer success
- Are ready to meet customers and prospects across Europe
- Speak French and English fluently
What the job involves
- We’re looking for an ambitious Enterprise Account Executive (AE) to join our growing sales team and help us shape the way we work with Global 2000 customers
- In this role, you’ll take the time to understand each prospect’s unique challenges, map them to Rasa’s platform, and clearly show how we can deliver value — both to end users and to decision-makers
- You’ll lead complex deal cycles, often across multiple industries, and help position Rasa as a trusted partner in conversational AI
- Own your GTM strategy engaging with marketing, SDR, and other functions to achieve consistent pipeline generation
- Build and own the relationship with the customer
- Educate, evangelize, and guide our customers from PoC to successful adoption of Rasa
- Drive and prove technical capabilities and business value of Rasa’s platform
- Forecast and manage your sales activity and pipeline to consistently hit revenue targets
- Work closely with our customer success team and develop new opportunities for our existing customers
- Collect and deliver customer feedback to the product team
- This role sits within our Sales department, reporting into our EMEA Sales Director
- You will work with your solutions engineer and business development lead to build out your territory, progress opportunities through the buying journey and establish a partnership with key customers
Our take
Rasa is a platform for AI-led personalized conversations. There’s no shortage of competition in this market, with the likes of Google’s Dialogflow and Microsoft’s LUIS, but Rasa has taken a different approach. It moves away from the standard ’this question receives this response’ hard-coded chat bots to a system that uses AI technologies to understand what the customer is saying in context.
Rasa's open source platform has grown a large community which has helped with integrating the system into a wide range of messaging platforms, and in creating extensions to the functionality of the system. This in turn has increased its use and popularity.
While Rasa is coming under increasing pressure from a swarm of chatbot providers powered by ChatGPT and other generative AIs, Rasa has integrated large language models into its own platform. This, combined with recent funding and recognition as a leader in generative conversational AI, puts the company in a very good position going forward.
