- Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy or related field
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with various elements of hospital staff. E.g. you are typically well rounded and comfortable doing oral presentations
- Strong scientific/research interests. E.g. you are someone who feels comfortable reading and discussing scientific papers
- Fast learner driven by curiosity. E.g. you are someone who learns new skills easily and autonomously
- Methodic work style with ability to surpass barriers intelligently. E.g. you have achieved an interesting endeavour by your own
- Passion for technology and UpHill's mission. E.g. you are very well rounded with technology, and you always now what’s new and noteworthy
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally. E.g. you enjoy being on the road
- Nice to have: Experience in B2B sales, specifically with hospitals
What the job involves
- We're looking for a energetic and goal-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our high performance sales team to prospect, engage and qualify potential hospital clients in Spain
- This role involves search and analytical skills to identify and rank potential targets, as well as scientific curiosity and strong communication skills to develop conversations with doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and IT personnel in hospitals, playing a key role in our B2B sales process

Founded in 2015, Uphill has seen a surge in demand in recent years. Its software, which includes monitoring, analysis and recording capabilities, has been well-received by the sector, and it now serves the largest hospital units in Portugal, covering approximately 25% of the Portuguese population.
Securing funding in 2024, the company is now pushing forward with its aggressive expansion plans, growing its team and business reach. It will also invest in further product development, and it will be interesting to see how its suite evolves over time.
