Principal Data Engineer, thymia

• Extensive experience doing Data Engineering in serious settings, in or around Machine Learning, using technologies including Python, Airflow, and Postgres in AWS
• Strong collaboration skills, you will work with diverse people in a diverse set of teams - Neuroscientists, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Researchers, Engineers, Product Managers - there are a lot of different opinions and perspectives to take on board
• You are a great communicator, sharing feedback with others, taking feedback onboard yourself, and advocating for continuous improvement
• 4+ years experience in a senior role in Data Engineering
• Extensive experience with AWS

Desirable

• One day you might work on Airflow DAGs, Postgres migrations, or setting up a Data Warehouse for reporting, or you might sit with the ML team and brain storm for a new project - this is a startup and flexibility is key.
• Iterate and improve on our Data Engineering setup
• Help us scale to an order of magnitude more data (or more!)
• Day to day operational responsibility for keeping data pipelines working
