Who you are
- Proven experience – 5+ years in product or UX design, with a strong portfolio of responsive mobile and web work (eCommerce a plus)
- User-first mindset – You design for real people and advocate for intuitive, accessible, and delightful experiences
- Strong craft – Proficiency in Figma and interaction design, with attention to detail across prototyping, layout, and systems thinking

What the job involves
- GotPhoto is looking for an enthusiastic Sr. Product Designer in Berlin
- As a Senior Product Designer on our Shop team, you’ll shape intuitive, elegant, and visually delightful experiences that make discovering and purchasing photos effortless.
- Your work will directly impact families by capturing special moments, while also supporting photographers in showcasing and selling their work effectively
- You’ll report directly to Nils, our Product Design Lead, and join a growing, impact-driven design team dedicated to simplicity, clarity, and customer delight
- Design with purpose – Uncover user needs, analyze insights, and shape seamless, thoughtful user journeys
- Craft compelling experiences – Bring ideas to life through wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished UI designs in Figma
- Collaborate deeply – Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create consistent, scalable solutions
- Elevate our team – Engage in design critiques, mentor peers, share insights, and refine how we work as a team
Our take
Taking professional photos for events and schools is as much an exercise in administration as it is in photography, with a gruelling and largely manual workload of organising photos, taking payments and shipping out prints eating into a photographer's time. GotPhoto exists to make this process much easier, automating promotions, sales and fulfillment, freeing the photographer to focus on their core business.
Considered the leader in its market, GotPhoto has amassed a customer base of about 4000 small-medium business and sole trader clients across the UK, US and DACH regions. While the company has had strong growth in recent years it still has a large market to grow into, with around 70% of volume photographers still relying on manual systems, and a core market growing by 25% year on year as these photographers start to look to the benefits of automation for their businesses.
GotPhoto was acquired by EQT Growth in 2023, providing investment into the platform's development and adding new features. It will also be able to tap its parent company's commercial connections as it aims to grow its lead in an estimated $5 billion market.
