- Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence senior leaders and lead cross-functional discussions
- Demonstrated experience guiding and developing other team members and contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team environment
- Solid understanding of SaaS or subscription-based business models and related key performance indicators is a plus

What the job involves
- LegalZoom is seeking a Business Finance Senior Manager to join our Finance team (Business Finance / FP&A), with a primary focus on Sales and Service Delivery. This is a highly visible role responsible for driving financial strategy, performance management, and decision support across revenue-generating and service-oriented functions
- The Senior Manager will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, lead complex strategic initiatives, develop scalable financial frameworks, and guide the growth and development of other members of the Business Finance team
- Own and oversee the financial performance of Sales and Service Delivery organizations, including revenue, cost-to-serve, productivity, and margin analysis
- Serve as the primary finance partner to Sales and Service Delivery leadership, providing strategic guidance, scenario analysis, and recommendations that influence key business decisions
- Lead the development of advanced financial models to support headcount planning, investment prioritization, and long-range planning
- Deliver clear, compelling executive-level presentations that translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior management
- Provide thought leadership on how to scale and optimize Sales and Service Delivery operations, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer outcomes
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting, and metrics across supported functions
- Partner closely with Corporate Finance to support planning, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions
- Play a key role in the ongoing evolution of the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment between operational plans and financial targets
- Lead and mentor other members of the Business Finance team, fostering strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and professional development
- Act as a finance subject matter expert on cross-functional initiatives related to growth, operational excellence, system implementations, and new business models
