Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, technical sales, or customer-facing role
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex systems and “speak the language” of engineering and information technology
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with customer IT teams, sales teams, and internal stakeholders
- Experience in creating compelling customer case studies or success stories is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing customer requirements
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Prior experience in the supply chain industry
- Willingness to travel as required to customer sites and industry events
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement tools is a plus
What the job involves
- As a Pre-Sales Consultant, your primary focus will be working closely with customer IT teams, conducting product demonstrations, and creating compelling customer case studies
- In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving sales success by showcasing the value and capabilities of our products to potential customers
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and requirements, and align product demonstrations and case studies accordingly
- Build strong relationships with customer IT teams, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert to understand their pain points, challenges, and objectives
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to customer IT teams, showcasing the features, functionalities, and benefits of our products
- Proactively engage with customers to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement or customization, and relay this information to the product development team
- Create compelling and persuasive customer case studies that highlight successful product implementations and their impact on customer organizations
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant customer data, success metrics, and testimonials to support case study development
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure case studies are optimized for various marketing channels, including websites, social media, and sales collateral
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to provide relevant insights during customer engagements
- Assist the sales team in proposal creation, RFQ and RFP responses, and technical documentation preparation

Leverage’s 2022 round of funding is being channeled into product development and supporting a growing customer base. A fresh round was awarded in 2023, and the company has since expanded it's product offering with it's Shipment Visibility product, showing that Leverage is achieving its expansion drive.
