Who you are
- At least six years of practical experience
- Proficient with Typescript and Python in a professional capacity
- Thrive on taking ownership and developing critical components of products and platforms

What the job involves
- We are seeking a proactive full stack software engineer who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to join our team at Foundry
- In this role, you will play a crucial part in bringing our compute marketplace and products to fruition
- Collaboration is key in this role, as you will closely work with our talented research teams responsible for developing the backend systems and infrastructure powering our application
- Your input and contributions will contribute significantly to the continual enhancement of these technologies, enabling us to reach the next milestone
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deeply understand customer needs and project requirements
- Utilize your expertise in frontend technologies and UX/UI design principles to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces
- Ensure documentation is comprehensive, clear, and accessible to facilitate collaboration among team members and future maintenance
- Leverage your backend development skills to translate technical designs into robust, scalable, and secure web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices
- Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of the applications
- Coordinate with Infrastructure teams to deploy applications, monitor system performance, and implement optimizations as needed
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and feature enhancements

Typically, businesses that want to leverage AI and Machine Learning find themselves having to build their own infrastructure, sourcing their own hardware and basically becoming experts in it before they can access the AI compute resources that they need.
Foundry is working to simplify access to AI compute, by supplying a public cloud that is powered by its orchestration platform. Built with machine learning in mind, it can manage the unique needs of these workloads, and essentially removes the need for engineering teams to concern themselves with hardware.
Delivering a service for which demand is already on the rise, the company sets itself up well for a fruitful future. Foundry has recently raised an impressive Seed and Series A round of funding that will support expansion efforts and the pursuing of more partnerships, as well as help enhance its offering.
