Role
Who you are
- 4 to 6 years of experience in participating in the full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution
- Demonstrated success in being a product leader in a zero-to-one environment
- Strong technical understanding of modern API design and data integration processes
- Prior experience in computer science or software engineering is encouraged
- Proven track record of building and delivering products and solutions that yielded quantifiable successes
- Experience in performing market and competitor analysis
- Experience working with users, and gathering and prioritizing feedback
- Can incorporate data, research and market analysis to shape product strategies and roadmaps
- Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize resources effectively
- Impeccable organizational and execution skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; you can patiently, professionally and effectively communicate with a diverse and multicultural group of peers across time zones and continents
- Strong desire to work at an early-stage startup on a small team. Nimble, scrappy and adaptable. Can roll with the punches and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
- A positive, can-do attitude. You’re not deterred by minor setbacks and are able to swiftly overcome ambiguity
What the job involves
- We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to join the Kira team
- This is an opportunity to become part of a small product team within a high-growth, high-impact AI company tackling the $32 billion education LMS space
- This role will be responsible for owning different parts of the customer journey including platform integrations, API management, and the full analytics suite
- This person will steer product features that drive adoption and keep schools and school districts satisfied with the Kira Learning platform
- The ideal candidate is self-motivated, passionate about education and start-up life, and enthusiastic about data and computer science
- This person must be swift and nimble enough to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and they must have impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Support in driving a product strategy and roadmap that aligns with and delivers upon Kira Learning’s growth plans
- Drive the strategy and execution for Kira’s platform integrations, API management, and analytics suite
- Track progress, coordinate delivery, communicate and coordinate risk mitigation plans
- Deep understanding of our users’ behaviors and pain points, as well as our user personas
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and teams, including marketing, designers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that requirements are understood and implemented correctly and on time
- Stay up to date with relevant market developments and industry trends
- Write detailed product documentation and ensure it is kept up to date
