• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse teams
• Proficient with G-Suite
• Must be able to stand for long periods and carry up to 50lbs
• This is an in-office position (Mon - Fri) in our NoMad office

• We are looking for a proactive, organized, adaptable, and team-oriented Office Operations Manager to join our People Operations team in New York City
• In this role, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our office environment, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently, while fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all employees and visitors
• You will be the go-to person for maintaining office functionality and organizing and executing memorable team events
• In addition, you will provide critical administrative support, and help manage the candidate and new hire experience, collaborating across departments to drive a seamless experience for all
• Office Operations: Oversee supplies procurement and office budget. Manage relationships with suppliers and building management.
• Coordinate regular ordering of team lunches and stock the kitchen with essentials to keep the team fueled and happy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared spaces
• Team Events & Culture: Plan and execute team-building events, offsites, and celebrations
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for cultural initiatives and activities. Maintain a calendar of events and activities to ensure consistent engagement touch points throughout the year
• Candidate and New Hire Experience: Partner with Talent Acquisition to create a welcoming and positive interview experience for on-site candidates
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their initial weeks, providing guidance on policies, systems, and resources
• Administrative: Coordinate travel arrangements for candidates and employees as needed. Assist with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing logistics for company-wide events or leadership gatherings
