Role
Who you are
- 5+ years experience in content marketing, journalism, or related fields, within healthcare and technology industries
- 3+ years of social media experience, with deep knowledge of best practices and how to drive engagement
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush)
- Proven experience developing and executing b2b content strategies that drive engagement and business outcomes
- Experience with enterprise tools, including Google Suite, Asana, social media tools
What the job involves
- We’re seeking a Senior Content Strategist to help bring narratives to life through compelling content. You will elevate our brand and drive engagement across multiple channels
- Reporting to our Director of Communications and Content, you will lead content strategy, creation, and execution, ensuring our messaging resonates with diverse audiences, from enterprise clients to individual users. If you would like to build a future where you can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, this role might be for you
- Own and execute content strategy for our corporate website, blog, and social channels, focused on delivering relevant, engaging content to diverse audiences, including partners, employers, labor unions, Medicare Advantage plans, and individual users, with a goal of increasing content discovery (SEO), engagement, and demand generation
- Create content for buyer and partner audiences, including blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, social posts, testimonials, case studies, email campaigns, video scripts, and other innovative materials that amplify Hello Heart’s thought leadership in heart health and digital health innovation
- Collaborate with Design, Product, Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams to produce tailored B2B and consumer-facing content that aligns with audience needs and stages of the buyer journey (top, middle, and bottom of the funnel)
- Manage and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent delivery of content across website, blog, social channels, and third-party platforms
- Drive social media strategies that generate buzz, demand, and follower growth, both internally and externally, while crafting posts that resonate with specific audience segments
- Leverage data and analytics to track performance across website traffic, blog subscriptions, social engagement, and amplification, optimizing content strategies to maximize results
- Flex your creative muscles to collaborate cross-functionally on brand and demand-generation campaigns, themed marketing initiatives, and other high-impact activities
- Assist in managing relationships with media to align with communication objectives and key goals, ensuring Hello Heart is positioned as a leader in the space
- Tailor and optimize content for SEO, while continuously refining strategies to improve visibility and performance metrics

Heart disease is the leading cause of death across the United States, and action has never been more urgent in the light of the Surgeon Generals' Call to Action on hypertension, a major preventable risk factor for all heart conditions. Hello Heart is a medical tech company that helps its users achieve lifestyle changes that will reduce their risk of heart disease, using artificial intelligence, behavioral science, a digital coaching app and connected monitoring tools to achieve this
Hello Heart is offered as a service to individuals via its app and to employers and health insurance who can offer it as a perk to their employees or customers. While other solutions exist, such as a plethora of health-related, gamified apps and coaching services, Hello Heart is somewhat unique with its membership of the American Heart Association's Innovator's Network, giving its solution a great deal of credibility compared to its rivals. Indeed, Hello Heart drives down health care costs by almost $2000 a year per user, which has led to it being offered as a perk by companies such as Delta Airlines and Northwestern Mutual.
Hello Heart has raised a significant amount of funding, most recently in 2022 which saw it closing a Series D round. It is currently focusing on R&D efforts to improve the AI underpinning its technology, allowing it to add new and more thorough health tracking and coaching capabilities. With a popular and effective solution to a growing problem, Hello Heart is well poised to continue its run of success.
