Role
Who you are
- Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University; Preferably in a field related to the internship you are applying for
- Junior or Senior standing
- Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
- A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ lbs. and occasional sitting
What the job involves
- Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects live entertainment business
- You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- This is a part-time position, up to 25 hours per week
- Assist marketing department with administrative duties
- Research target markets for concerts
- Research influencers in target markets
- Maintain contact list of local media & influencers
- Research social media trends
- Assist with curating monthly social content calendar
- Assist with creating original social content
- Final internship project will be assigned at the beginning of the internship program to be presented at the end
- Learn the process of marketing concerts
- Learn how to properly research target demographics
- Learn how to build and maintain relationships with third party organizations
- Learn how to create social content and copy
- This program is during Spring 2024
Our take
Live Nation is the world's leading live entertainment company, sitting at the top of the market in live events and ticketing. Formed in 2005, it is a major international company, with key business segments made up of concerts, ticketing, and sponsorship and advertising.
Despite its dominant position in the market, the company saw an 84% drop in revenue during 2020 and the closure of live events. Since then, however, demand has been stronger than ever for their ticket sales.
