Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on employer, B2B, or healthcare sectors
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful market messaging, campaigns, and content strategies
- Strong experience creating and managing a variety of content formats, including sales collateral, case studies, and thought leadership pieces
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Proficiency in analyzing marketing data and KPIs to measure success and inform future strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA preferred
What the job involves
- AliveCor is looking for a VP, Employer Marketing to join our sales department
- The person will lead marketing efforts for our employer sales organization
- Reporting directly to the SVP of Employer, this role will play a pivotal role in shaping AliveCor’s market presence and supporting employer growth through strategic messaging, impactful content creation, lead generation, and event strategy
- The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with a deep understanding of employer marketing within healthcare or employee benefits, and a proven ability to drive results
- Develop and refine AliveCor’s employer market positioning, ensuring alignment with the needs of consultants, brokers, and employer clients/partners
- Create compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences, showcasing the unique and differentiated value of AliveCor’s offerings
- Lead the creation of high-impact marketing materials, including one-pagers, brochures, case studies, white papers, and presentations, to support the employer team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with AliveCor’s brand voice
- Oversee the Business Development team and collaborate on designing and executing lead generation campaigns to drive awareness and create opportunities for the employer sales team
- Procure and leverage cost effective marketing automation and contact database tools to nurture leads and measure campaign performance
- Identify and recommend key industry conferences and events to enhance AliveCor’s visibility within the employer, payer, and consulting/brokerage communities
- Oversee event planning and execution, including booth design, sponsorship opportunities, and on-site support
- Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities
- Provide insights and recommendations to the employer team to enhance market positioning
- Partner closely with the employer sales organization to ensure alignment between marketing and sales efforts
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals to execute employer marketing initiatives effectively
Our take
Wearable devices that track and provide data on a patient’s cardio health have been around for a while, but diagnoses must still be made by a doctor. Health issues such as atrial fibrillation, bradycardia and tachycardia may be projected through heart-rate data, but this is useless without a doctor present.
AliveCor sells a wearable ECG device which works in cooperation with AI to detect a range of heart problems without a doctor present. The AI analyzes heart-rate data and instantly produces reports and diagnoses. The app also prompts users to describe symptoms that they are feeling, and the total information is then instantly sent to the user’s doctor.
The company has solid investment behind it, which supports the furthering of its mission to become a leading provider of cardiological care. Already, AliveCor's products have served over 3 million customers and are the number one doctor-recommended personal ECG devices.
