Who you are
- Must be currently enrolled in a full time degree program in Computer Science or a related field, and returning to the program after the completion of the internship
- Experience with Machine Learning frameworks
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Swift, Kotlin…)
- Data processing fundamentals

What the job involves
- As a Machine Learning Intern for the Sonos Voice Experience project, you will be part of a team integrating, running efficiently and in a reliable way, state of the art Machine Learning technology on our devices
- In addition, you will get the opportunity to develop and conduct your own Machine Learning research project
- If you love music, learning, and solving huge challenging software problems, we’d like to talk to you
- Duration: April to August 2024
- During this internship, you will be driving a research project focused on advanced data processing and data extraction from different types of content (e.g., music, images, video,…)
- The goal will be to explore and evaluate automated categorization and clustering solutions for such content types, by applying a range of cutting edge Machine Learning techniques
- For example, clustering songs’ audio features into music genres (note: this is only meant as an illustration of the kind of work you might do)
- In this role, you will be mentored by machine learning and product design experts, but as the main driver of the research project, you will also work independently
- Investigate state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for content/metadata processing
- Extract meaningful data and insights from diverse datasets
- Develop and implement innovative methods to categorize and cluster data effectively
