Who you are

  • You’re curious about how to solve problems and you can easily translate user needs into great product requirements
  • You can identify opportunities, determine a clear direction for the product, and manage priorities effectively
  • You’re a Product Manager in your heart and soul, which can also communicate and influence sales and executive's teams
  • Multiple years of experience in a software product role, driving change and learning through multiple release cycles in an agile environment
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-centric value propositions
  • Experience working with sales teams and supporting enterprise customer engagements
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across global teams and multiple time zones
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for driving business growth through effective product positioning
  • You have experience in Utilities industry – big advantage
  • You have worked in a Pre-Sales/Sales related role
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and SaaS-based products

  • As a Product Manager, you will manage all aspects of the product from vision to production, building high quality products
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio and its value proposition to communicate effectively with customers
  • Support sales teams in new customer acquisitions by demonstrating product capabilities and alignment with customer needs
  • Partner with internal teams to refine and evolve product positioning based on customer feedback and market insights
  • Represent the product in customer engagements, executive discussions, and industry events to drive engagement and adoption
  • Continuously incorporate learning and feedback from customers and stakeholders to refine strategies and improve experiences
  • Work independently, focusing on outcomes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure business impact
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of our product, with a strong focus on customer-centric solutions
  • Leverage your understanding of business application software architecture, particularly web and cloud applications, with a commitment to ongoing learning
  • Travel across Europe and occasionally beyond to support sales efforts and customer engagements
  • Work with global teams across multiple time zones to align messaging, strategy, and product support efforts
  • Support initiatives run by the GSTF and demonstrate our company values by providing a clear commitment to environmental and social responsibility
  • Contribute through identifying/proposing local sustainable practices and ideas in accordance with our Sustainability Charter
  • Utilise our sustainability app by taking part in challenges and improving behaviours to be more sustainable

As world industries set ambitious net zero carbon targets in response to a mounting climate crisis, Gentrack has found its services consistently in demand since its founding in 1980.

With direct competition from the likes of Ecrion and Apptivo, Gentrack must constantly strive to keep ahead of its rivals. However, its solutions have already been backed by some key clients in the market, with a particularly strong base among energy suppliers in New Zealand and Australia. As energy prices rapidly increase due to political instability in Europe, Gentrack has also expanded its presence strongly in the United Kingdom, forming partnerships with the likes of Marble Power, ENGIE, E.On and npower.
