Who you are
- A technically fluent TPM with a track record of driving complex developer infrastructure programs that support high impact software, hardware and systems teams
- Confident working alongside engineers in C++, Python, and performance critical domains, with enough technical depth to engage meaningfully and make informed decisions
- Motivated by developer productivity, passionate about infrastructure quality, and focused on eliminating friction across the software development lifecycl
What the job involves
- We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead developer infrastructure initiatives that enhance how our engineers build, test, monitor, and scale software across a full stack AI platform
- In this role, you will drive cross functional programs that span multiple engineering teams and core infrastructure areas including CI/CD, observability, orchestration, and cloud workflows
- You will partner with technical leads to prioritize investments, streamline development workflows, and ensure our infrastructure scales reliably across environments
- We need infrastructure leadership across multiple teams and systems, coordinating efforts around CI/CD, observability, and orchestration
- A strategic partner to guide planning and align team-level priorities with shared tooling and platform needs
- Clear execution that brings structure, momentum, and coordination to complex engineering efforts
- You'll learn ways to scale and evolve infrastructure across an AI-first stack, from compilers to system runtimes supporting custom hardware
- Best practices in observability (metrics, logs, traces), release automation, and orchestration across on-prem and cloud environments
- How to connect team roadmaps to infrastructure needs through proactive demand planning and internal coordination
- Our approach to building robust, scalable, open-source–focused developer infrastructure that enables fast iteration and long-term innovation

Our take
Advances in artificial intelligence apps, combined with a global chip shortage, are strong tailwinds for chip processor Tenstorrent. The semi-conducter developer is designing specialized chips for running artificial intelligence applications, building chips for what it calls "software 2.0".
The company’s unique approach is to build for this future software, which it believes will be written at a higher level. Combining this with conditional computing, Tenstorrent supports a scalable distributed network approach that is analogous to a human brain.
While the market for specialised AI hardware is destined to be gigantic, the company has to compete with a plethora of hopeful startups (as well as major tech companies like NVIDIA and Qualcomm). That said, Tenstorrent boasts an excellent trajectory so far, with its latest moves including unveiling its high-end Wormhole AI processors, and a partnership with LG which will see the development of chips for "Affectionate Intelligence".
