Role
Who you are
- You have 3+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, specifically selling to large Enterprise customers
- You take a consultative approach and are passionate about helping customers solve problems
- Possess advanced Webflow product knowledge with additional awareness of third-party app integrations that extend the value of the Webflow platform
- You consistently demonstrate strong storytelling skills within the context of discovery and/or product demo sessions
- Exhibit an advanced understanding of APIs and web programming languages — HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- Enjoy working autonomously, creatively, and kindly with your teammates while empowering and supporting those around you
- Practice radical candor with your colleagues to communicate clearly. You can start from the common ground as a great listener and work towards creative solutions with others
- You have excellent coaching, writing, discovery and presentation skills
- You have enthusiasm for earning customer trust and deepening customer relationships
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing priorities
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to inspire our customers by helping them understand the art of what’s possible with the Webflow platform
- You will tell our differentiated story that shows how our solution helps them meet their business objectives. Webflow Solutions Engineers also champion the customer voice by understanding market trends and influencing product direction
- Reporting to the Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering
- Support 2-3 Enterprise Account Executives & multiple strategic deals simultaneously, proactively communicating with stakeholders to ensure on-time solution delivery
- Guide Enterprise customers through the evaluation process of Webflow ensuring that our solution meets key business objectives and technical requirements
- Partner with both the Account Executives and potential customers through deep discovery, solution design, technical validation and business case development
- Present effective stories through demonstrations that highlight the benefits of using Webflow to solve key customer objectives and challenges
- Influence product direction by representing the customer voice while working with product, marketing and sales
- Lead strategic cross-functional initiatives that are key to advancing Webflow’s mission of bringing development superpowers to everyone
Our take
No-code development systems allow users to create and publish the kind of output that was once only possible with the help of a team of developers. Webflow is one such platform that allows non-developers to create professional websites without knowing any code. It joins others such as Pantheon, Weebly, Squarespace, and Wix in a hotly-contested low-code development market. While competition is high, so too is demand, with low-code platforms accounting for more than 65% of application development activity in 2024.
The popularity of platforms such as Webflow is perhaps not surprising, as low-code development is usually cheaper for companies to implement and reduces time to market. Webflow has been used by over 3.5 million designers and teams to create sites for companies including enterprise brands such as Dell, Rakuten, UpWork, and Petal. It raised a large amount of funding in a Series C round in 2022. This is being used to further develop its platform, with a longer-term goal of pivoting to providing a no-code tool not only for websites, but software development as well.
