Who you are

  • 7+ years of content creation and communications experience, with expertise in corporate messaging, social media, and event content
  • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging narratives for diverse audiences
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams and leadership levels
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and problem-solving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience with social media management tools, content platforms, and branding best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred
  • Portfolio or content samples required
  • Role may require up to 25% travel (3-4 trips/year, globally)

What the job involves

  • In this highly collaborative role, you will partner with company leaders, subject matter experts, and marketing peers to craft compelling content, shape event narratives, engage audiences through social media, and enhance Veson’s brand identity. You’ll own the creation of high-impact corporate content, from executive thought leadership pieces to event presentations and digital assets
  • Develop engaging corporate content to tell a cohesive, compelling story about Veson Nautical, collaborating with subject matter experts and designers
  • Own the creation and refinement of website content, marketing collateral, executive thought leadership pieces, and video content
  • Support internal communications and employer branding initiatives to strengthen company culture and talent attraction efforts.
  • Design and shape engaging event agendas for Veson-hosted events, working closely with leadership and speakers
  • Lead the creation of event-related content, including presentations, speaker briefs, and promotional materials
  • Ensure all event messaging aligns with Veson’s strategic positioning and brand voice.
  • Own and refine Veson’s social media strategy (primarily LinkedIn) to grow engagement and brand awareness
  • Create and schedule impactful social media content in partnership with the rest of the content and brand team, leveraging industry insights, trends, and internal expertise
  • Collaborate with internal teams to cultivate company-wide social media participation and influence
  • Monitor and track engagement metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Help shape and activate Veson’s brand voice across all corporate assets, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging
  • Support brand positioning through compelling storytelling, market narratives, and audience-focused content strategies.
  • Stay ahead of emerging content trends, leveraging AI, interactive media, and mobile-first strategies
  • Ensure content is optimized for digital consumption and engagement across various platforms
