Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design, brand design, marketing design, animation/motion, or all of them
- Motion, GFX, or post-production experience (in addition to static design) is preferred, as you will work closely with both video editors and designers
- Familiarity with generative AI creative tooling is a plus
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
- An understanding for visual design, color, layout, typography, and information hierarchy
- Portfolio of beautiful, compelling digital graphic design work that spans multiple disciplines, placements, and/or channels
- Pixel-perfect attention to detail
- Experience working on a range of digital projects including, social media, email designs, and banner ads
- Ability to take constructive criticism and adapt the work appropriately
- Empathetic. You take time to understand the audiences you design for—and speak directly to their needs and emotions
- Analytical. You’re not afraid to dive into the data, using audience insights to help shape your copy
- Collaborative. You’ll work side-by-side with designers, marketing managers, and more
- Articulate. You can express the intentions behind your words and ideas
- Open & hungry to learn. We’ve developed a proven strategy for high-performance creative—so an openness to learning how we do things is a must, coupled with a hunger to evolve, adapt, and build upon existing approaches
- Ability to take things on with agency, speed, and sometimes minimal direction (we run a lot of experiments!)
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Designer to join our in-house creative team
- This person will take pride in creating beautiful and compelling digital experiences, that drives engagement through all our marketing channels and beyond
- You will help create assets that support go-to-market (GTM) strategies and integrated marketing campaigns, including but not limited to email, social media content, paid media and various landing pages, as well as assets for our affiliate partners
- You will design eye-catching ads that captivate our audience and drive measurable engagement, ensuring all design elements align with our brand guidelines as they evolve
- Develop and design graphics for digital media, including social media, websites, emails and marketing materials
- Work alongside the Senior Designer and Creative Director on the visual execution and evolution of the Kikoff Brand
- Help uphold and maintain a consistent brand guidelines across all deliverables
- Collaborate with Creative and cross-functional teams to deliver designs that are creative, enguaging, and align with brand standards and business goals.
- Solicit and integrate design feedback from creative leaders while independently executing revisions
- Design high-quality deliverables. Generate high-resolution graphics, illustrations, and layouts that meet both creative and technical standards
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of design principles and a commitment to consistently creating competitively engaging work
- Exhibit excellent time management skills and the ability to work concurrently on multiple projects
- Conceptualize and bring unique creative ideas from ideation to execution
- Stay updated on trends. Follow design trends and best practices to ensure that all graphics are creative and on-brand

Having a solid credit history is a fundamental building block for financial health and there is a large market of people looking to build or rebuild their credit scores. Roughly half of all American adults have subprime credit or no credit whatsoever, and it’s safe to say there is a demand for credit products tailored to beginners and builders.
Kikoff is a credit-building platform aimed at Millennials and GenZ. Their signature product helps consumers without a credit history to positively influence several key aspects of their credit score. This includes their payment history, how much they owe, and the length of their account history.
Kikoff's goal is to help customers across their entire financial journeys and create a simple and positive banking relationship: from stabilizing cash flows to accumulating savings, and building towards long-term goals such as a mortgage. The company plans to build out its technology and team, across all function areas, to bring new products to market in the future.
