Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales development strategies, and a passion for nurturing talent
- Minimum 2+ years in SDR roles with consistent success
- 1–2 years in an SDR team lead or management position (preferably in SaaS, mid-market or enterprise)
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English; additional languages are a plus
- Proven knowledge of sales methodologies, cadences, and prospect management
- A track record of coaching and mentoring SDRs to success
- Comfortable in a dynamic, high-growth startup environment
- Based in or willing to work onsite in the New York office 3 days/week
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Manager to lead and coach a team of Sales Development Representatives
- This role focuses on training, developing, and supporting an SDR team to achieve their goals, contributing to overall team success and achievement of revenue objectives
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of SDRs, focusing on their professional growth and development to help them achieve and exceed their targets
- Develop and implement training programs and best practices to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the SDR team
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategies for lead generation and prospecting within defined territories or industries
- Effectively utilise various communication tools, including LinkedIn, phone communications, and emails, to educate and engage future customers
- Drive brand and product awareness in the market, ensuring the SDR team is well-versed in the company's offerings and value propositions
- Oversee the scheduling of qualified appointments for the Enterprise Account Executives, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system (Salesforce)
