Vice President of FP&A, Galaxy

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A/strategic finance, trading product control, consulting, or a related analytical role
• Deep understanding of PnL modeling frameworks across various asset classes (FX, futures, options, etc.)
• Experience building complex financial models and extracting KPIs to support CFO/Board Meeting prep
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large, convoluted datasets in Excel
• Proficient in income statement and balance sheet analysis
• Intellectually curious self-starter, comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a structured approach to solving complex problem
• Team player with a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills

Desirable

• Working as part of the FP&A team, you will be on the frontlines of maintaining and developing financial models, reconciliations, and strategy reporting analytics, covering end-to-end activity for our various business units – with a focus on trading
• These models feed management reporting whose audience includes individual traders/teams, company executives, and external stakeholders
• Develop a deep understanding of Galaxy’s various business lines (e.g. trading, asset management, staking, etc.)
• Own/develop reporting frameworks to maintain comprehensive coverage of business line specific activity and nuanced deal structures
• Manage various daily, weekly and quarterly PnL reporting streams
• Update and maintain reconciliations of FP&A models vs. financials, and other data sources
• Collaborate with business units and FP&A team members to model new business requirements, and represent FP&A in the “new business committee”
• Lead initiatives to transition Excel-based models into scalable, automated reporting solutions
• Provide data-driven ad hoc analysis to support executive and business line specific reporting
