Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate is a data-driven and detail-oriented program owner, has a big picture and continuous improvement mindset, and seamlessly drives projects from idea to execution
- 3-6 years of experience in Management/Human Capital Consulting, or a Chief of Staff/Business Operations role. People Operations experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- A combination of high ownership mentality, detail orientation, and excellent project management skills that has resulted in a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives
- Analytical mindset and an aptitude for telling stories with data; advanced excel/google sheets abilities
- Experience building and scaling processes in a rapidly evolving, high-bar environment
- Passion for delivering an exceptional customer (employee) experience
- A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
- A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a People Operations Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing key people programs (e.g., Performance Reviews, Compensation, Talent Development, Employee Experience, DEIB)
- This role does not require direct experience in People Ops, but rather a willingness to learn and tackle any challenge, and a passion for delivering extraordinary results through people
- This role reports to the Director of People Operations
- Use data to analyze organizational health and areas of improvement for the People function
- Develop, improve and manage the most critical strategic components of the People Function: Performance and Compensation, Talent Development, DEIB, and Employee Experience
- Serve as program manager for learning and development initiatives and culture programming
- Innovate on practices and programs to build a highly connected and engaged hybrid workforce
- Design and manage People Analytics dashboards
- Partner on change management challenges and complex employee matters
- Lead projects and/or provide support in any other area of People Ops (e.g., Operational Workflows, Organizational Development)

Garner Health creates digital services that allow patients to find a medical expert that fits their specific needs, whatever their insurance circumstances are.
The startup provides an app that analyses local health-insurance claims history through AI. This data is used to recommend local medical professionals that will work with a patient's circumstances whilst providing direct communication channels for liaising. This helps patients to identify the highest-quality doctors and helps doctors improve how they practice medicine.
Despite other companies providing similar bespoke healthcare services, Garner Health shows a cutting edge by partnering with patient employers. This provides the financial incentive that employers must cover all or a portion of medical expenses, making healthcare financially accessible for all involved. The company has good funding at its back, and in 2022 partnered with Marathon Health towards reducing the inefficiencies of specialty referrals.
