Who you are
- If you enjoy fast-paced environments, value ownership, and want to make a tangible impact for small businesses, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to do just that
- 2–5 years of sales experience, ideally in SMB SaaS or high-throughput SDR/BDR or AE environments
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-volume sales motions with short deal cycles
- Ability to clearly communicate value to non-technical customers, especially small business owners
- Curiosity and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and apply feedback quickly
- A consultative mindset—you ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and help customers make confident decisions
- Metrics-driven approach—you track your activity, understand your funnel, and use data to improve performance

What the job involves
- We’re looking for an Account Executive to help small businesses adopt and expand their use of Homebase’s suite of workforce management tools
- In this role, you’ll work directly with owners and operators to understand their day-to-day challenges and guide them toward solutions that save time, reduce friction, and help their teams run better
- You’ll manage a high-velocity sales motion that includes discovery, product education, and closing—often within short sales cycles
- Success in this role comes from consistency, strong customer conversations, and the ability to balance efficiency with empathy
- This is a hands-on role within an established sales organization, where you’ll contribute to revenue growth while helping shape best practices through real customer insight

Homebase provide employees and businesses with time tracking applications, with a range of other HR functionality built in. Homebase automates the process of managing employee scheduling, and also helps companies improve internal communications.
The company contributes to the reduction of paperwork in an office by turning an array of devices into time clocks that track hours and overtime, while also providing payroll support. This makes it easier for companies to remain in sync, running a more efficient operation as a result.
Given that Homebase's customer base of small businesses is not able to pay a lot for its product, scale is the key driver in the company's future success. With over 100,000 customers already, its significant venture capital backing will ensure that the company will be able to grow (notably it's investing in Canadian talent) to provide its services on a profitable scale.
