Who you are
- No prior marketing or sales experience is required but you must have the ambition and time management to fulfill outbound outreach goals and a desire to master a sales-driven communication approach
- Strong passion for business development, fostering relationships and entrepreneurship
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Persuasive, high energy, with a sense of urgency and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced marketing organization
- Goal-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed metrics and pipeline quotas
- Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external)
- Collaborative and coachable mindset; you should be excited about continuously improving your skills and impact
- Experience in SaaS products or the legal industry is a plus
What the job involves
- We seek a highly personable, curious, and creative self-starter to join our Marketing team as Business Development Representative
- In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, scheduling calls, and managing a pipeline of leads
- You will build and accelerate sales pipeline through personalized and scaled outbound email sequences, phone outreach, and in-person events
- As part of the Marketing team, you will work to influence campaign outreach and GTM strategy, and partner extremely closely with Sales to target top prospects and advance qualified leads through the sales cycle
- Execute a combination of personalized and automated outreach sequences to drive engagement for specific accounts and buyer personas
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in CRM
- Drive attendance and own personalized experience surrounding Litify-hosted and industry-sponsored events
- Follow up on leads promptly and professionally to nurture relationships and convert opportunities into sales
- Research industry and market segment insights to tailor messaging with the most relevant content and value propositions for specific target audiences
- Ongoing training and learning from your peers and team leads on marketing strategies, revenue operations, sales tactics, and refined communication skills
- Utilize Litify systems such as Salesforce, Groove, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and more
- 10% travel to trade shows, events, and in-person experiences for prospects
