To enable the solar industry to scale efficiently.
As the solar industry has grown, one of its biggest complications has been effective solar farm maintenance. While the use of drones equipped with thermal cameras has improved the speed at which problems are identified, technicians still have to interpret a constant flow of unstructured data.
To help with this, Raptor Maps supplies software that analyzes drone imagery, diagnoses problems, and even estimates the costs associated with each problem. This has enabled solar energy to scale, creating over 50 GW of solar power production across 40 countries. The company boasts clients including Tesla, SOLV Energy and Rosendin Electric.
With the global solar energy market continuing to grow, and solar farms expanding in size and complexity, there is ample opportunity for Raptor Maps to both innovate and grow. It has raised considerable funds to date, the latest of which will help accelerate product development and expand its team.
