Who you are
- Minimum 4+ years in a Partner Relationship Management role with a strong emphasis on data analysis, insights, and reporting
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, presentation and communication skills
- Proven analytical capabilities, able to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights effectively
- Strong commercial acumen, understanding of financial indicators and contractual knowledge
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects, leveraging data insights in a cross-functional, dynamic environment
- Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, unpredictable setting
- Experience in the tech sector is advantageous and project managing technology platform implementations and enhancements
What the job involves
- Reporting to: Head of Relationships, North America
- To build, maintain, and optimize partner relationships while equipping Dublin-based Trading Squads with insightful analyses, comprehensive data-driven reports, and strategic partner updates that drive enhanced business performance. Additionally, to deliver regular, detailed, and insightful reporting and performance updates to US-based partners
- Build and maintain robust partner relationships, including travel to partner locations and industry conferences as required
- Actively participate in Trading Squads, collaborating closely to produce detailed data analyses and performance insights that help partners fully understand pricing dynamics, impacts on commission structures, and profitability drivers
- Ensure timely, insightful, and clearly communicated reporting on trading outcomes and key performance indicators (KPIs) to partners, highlighting performance trends and opportunities
- Represent partners internally as their advocate, using data-driven insights to facilitate informed decisions and cross-functional collaboration
- Leverage comprehensive data analysis and reporting to maximize partner revenue potential by advocating CarTrawler’s best-in-class car rental and insurance integrations
- Anticipate and proactively address partner needs and expectations, understanding their business drivers and motivations
- Efficiently triage and resolve partner issues, channelling actionable insights to appropriate internal teams
- Successfully use performance data and insights to upsell incremental or enhanced solutions, driving stronger commercial outcomes for existing partners
- Attend partner meetings and industry conferences in North America, with 1-2 annual visits
- Renewal of partner contracts as and when they arise

CarTrawler provides car rental and mobility solutions to travel industry players, enabling them to supplement their revenue and improve the experiences of their customers. It runs what is essentially a B2B marketplace for car rentals, through which airlines and travel agents can offer their clients end-to-end travel options.
Like many of its travel industry peers, the company has felt the pinch in recent years due to the after-effects of the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis. Despite this, CarTrawler has remained positive that it can capture further success in the new-look economy. It has continued to pursue new partnerships and expand its North American presence, already boasting a network of key players including United Airlines, easyJet, Uber, Emirates and Hotels.com.
