Who you are

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services sales, with a proven ability to expand existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling, while also identifying new account business opportunities
At least 6-10 years of experience selling in the financial services sector, with a strong focus on driving account growth, upselling, client retention, and new account generation
Previous engagement with Corporate Governance or Responsible Investment preferred
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to engage senior-level decision-makers and navigate complex sales cycles
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently
Bachelor’s degree required (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
Advanced credentials (e.g., MA, CAIA, CFA) preferred. Salesforce proficiency is a plus

ISS STOXX is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to drive revenue growth and deepen client relationships. This role focuses on selling ISS’ market-leading Governance Research and Voting (GRV) solutions to institutional investors
As a global leader in governance and stewardship solutions, ISS STOXX is uniquely positioned to meet the rising demand for Responsible Investment across the investment management landscape
Drive revenue growth across a defined territory in the Tri-State and East Coast regions, focusing on ISS’ Governance Research and Voting (GRV) solutions
Expand and grow existing client relationships by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within a portfolio of leading institutional investment firms
Proactively identify new business opportunities within current accounts and pursue net new logo opportunities
Collaborate with Business Development Representatives to generate and qualify leads
Develop strategic account plans to deepen client engagement and maximize long-term value
Partner with internal subject matter experts to support complex sales engagements and deliver tailored solutions
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing
Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in Salesforce

STOXX, previously Qontigo, was created by capital market giants Deutsche Börse Group in 2019 after its acquisition of stock market indexes STOXX and DAX, as well as portfolio construction and risk analytics company Axioma.

By combining index intelligence with Axioma’s risk analytics, the company’s purpose is to provide hedge fund, wealth, and asset managers with the tools to navigate a quickly shifting marketplace. Although STOXX keeps its customer base under wraps, it claims to work with some of the world’s largest asset management companies and financial institutions.

Considering that Deutsche Börse Group operates the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, it’s no surprise that STOXX is operating in such elite circles. The company has already expanded globally through the US, Europe, Asia, and Oceania, and looks set to keep growing, with a potential IPO looking more and more likely in the future.
