Our take
Habyt was born to make renting simple and stress-free. What started in Berlin as a subscription for hassle-free co-living has expanded into a global network of over 30,000 units that are perfect for nomads, international movers and locals craving a bit of flexibility.
Through partnerships and acquisitions, Habyt has grown into one of the world's biggest co-living brands. It has an established presence in Europe and pursued expansion into Korea with operations in Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore. Although it has now sold its Asia Pacific operations to Mitsubishi Estate.
This sale is part of a shift by Habyt to concentrate on its core flexible stay and living product and the European market, where it continues to expand its platform and footprint. The company is well-funded and cruising towards even more success, and intends to remain commercially involved with operations under Mitsubishi Estate’s ownership.
