Who you are
- The ideal candidate is efficient, proactive, organized, a creative thinker with analytical skills and an attention to detail, an excellent communicator, and has experience using email marketing to drive engagement and revenue
- 2+ years of email marketing experience, preferably in consumer marketing
- At least 1 year of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience building one-off emails and journeys
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. BA/BS degree required
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and/or SQL is a plus
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira is a plus
- Organized and proactive, pays attention to detail, and can manage simultaneous projects
- A creative thinker with strong analytical skills
- An enthusiastic team player with exceptional communication skills
- A strong understanding of email best practices
What the job involves
- IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to implement email campaigns for several products including Education.com, Vocabulary.com, Dictionary.com and ABCya
- You will partner with content and creative teams, marketing managers, and business stakeholders to build email campaigns end-to-end
- Using email best practices and implementing A/B testing, you will optimize engagement and conversions while creating the best possible user experience
- Project-manage all steps of email production, from design and copy, coding and QA, to list segmentation and send
- Build email campaigns from end-to-end in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Set up A/B tests, monitor analytics, and produce reports to track and optimize campaign performance
- Ensure the success of email execution by conducting thorough QA of all email elements
- Report results and learnings within the team and to business stakeholders
- Suggest ideas to continuously improve our email marketing programs and processes, including campaign development, email design, production, and more
