Engineering Manager, Stripe

• You have 10+ years of professional experience (1-5 years as a manager), with a track record of leading high performing engineering teams
• You have been responsible for delivering great products that work end-to-end and managed frontend and backend engineers
• You work very well cross-functionally, and are comfortable making hard decisions and trade-offs
• You have a strong technical sense and think rigorously about architecture and product decisions
• You thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
• You enjoy developing and mentoring engineers

• Owning problems from end-to-end by managing diverse systems, processes, and technologies, while continuously seeking opportunities to optimize efficiency and user experience
• Upholding high engineering standards, ensuring consistency across codebases, and implementing best practices throughout your team
• Recruiting top engineering talent in partnership with Stripe’s recruiting team to build a diverse and high-performing team
