Our take
TheTenn is a banking app that is setting out to break the banking mould and reward users for positive money habits. It offers access to your paycheck 2 days early, a free overdraft of upto $200, and insurance on all deposits worth upto $250k.
Launching in November 2023, the company is brand new to the market. Banking is a competitive space, and TheTenn will have to face both fast-moving neobanks and well-established legacy banks. The company has already secured pre-seed funding to boost its initial launch and has successfully attracted almost 30,000 people to join its waitlist.
