Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate is a visionary technology leader with a solid background in artificial intelligence and a passion for leveraging AI to solve complex engineering challenges
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 8+ years in AI/ML architecture, with hands-on experience in LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Llama) and frameworks and tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex etc
- Proven track record in designing and deploying AI solutions within complex, scalable systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience in cloud-native environments, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices
- Prior involvement in AI strategy development and enterprise-level AI projects
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
What the job involves
- Join us to drive the evolution of Palette, our Kubernetes management platform—enhancing its core foundation and ecosystem to ensure enterprise-grade scalability, security, and seamless adoption
- We are seeking a strategic, hands-on AI Architect who will be responsible for defining and implementing our AI strategy
- You will explore, evaluate, and integrate advanced AI, LLM tools, and intelligent agent frameworks to boost engineering efficiency and to reinvent our flagship Palette platform
- Lead the development of an AI roadmap aligned with Spectro Cloud’s business goals
- Identify strategic AI opportunities across engineering, product innovation, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with leadership, product teams, and engineering to prioritize AI initiatives.User stories & persona definitions
- Evaluate and integrate AI/LLM tools that streamline development processes, automate routine tasks, and improve code quality
- Design and deploy prototypes that leverage AI for predictive maintenance, performance monitoring, and intelligent automation
- Train engineering teams on AI best practices and tooling
- Explore and experiment with AI/LLM/agent-based technologies to reimagine core aspects of our Palette product
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to incorporate AI-driven features, such as natural language interfaces, intelligent configuration, and self-healing mechanisms into the product
- Pilot and iterate on new AI-driven workflows that enhance user experience and operational agility

Since its release in 2014, Kubernetes has seen widespread adoption as a cloud-native data center for software companies and those using clusters of tools. Spectro Cloud helps companies and organisations using Kubernetes to deploy and manage the software across all stages of a product’s life cycle.
Founded by former employees of legacy software company Cisco, Spectro Cloud was created in 2019 to offer decentralised architecture, frictionless onboarding, management, and security for application building. Its Kubernetes management platform, Palette, works end-to-end to support the product lifecycle, allowing users to build for "what they need now and in the future."
With impressive funding behind it, Spectro Cloud is planning new management hires and expanding its software’s uses across new technologies. This includes exploring artificial intelligence and a variety of possible applications in industries such as automotive, healthcare and energy.
