Who you are
- 6+ years of relevant experience in sales strategy, sales operations, sales programs, sales consulting, sales enablement or sales preferred
- Proven ability to manage and influence cross-functional stakeholders to deliver components of sales plays in a coordinated and timely manner
- Has an enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality. Pragmatic problem solver, with a bias to action and “getting things done”. Entrepreneur who is passionate about driving business outcomes and change at the ground level
- Ability to creatively solve problems with limited resources and input. Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility
- Operates with a sense of urgency and always brings their own point of view
- Executive presence and demonstrated success building positive relationships with senior partners and influencing and collaborating in cross-functional environments
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g. Gsheets, excel, Salesforce CRM tools & reporting, Tableau) and an ability to draw practical insights from data sets and reviews with salespeople and sales leaders

What the job involves
- The GTM Operations team is responsible for overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization, partnering closely with the sales team and teams across Stripe to drive initiatives
- The Sales Strategy and Operations function at Stripe plays a crucial role in the success of our sales organization
- With a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of the art and science of sales, our team is dedicated to informing the sales strategy, optimising processes, developing sales programs and providing insights that propel our sales growth
- We do this by being objective, trusted partners to the Sales Leadership team
- As the EMEA Sales Programs Manager, you will work directly with executive sales leaders, sales teams, and front-line sales managers to understand their pipe generation and pipe progression needs, collaborate with a diverse cross-functional group of teams across sales, marketing, enablement, strategy, and others to develop and implement sales programs and plays to meet those needs, then measure the results and adapt the sales programs as necessary
- Craft and deliver a programmatic and scalable approach to Pipe Generation through sales programs and plays tailored by industry, segment, and business priority to improve pipegen and progression
- Drive operational excellence: set standard methodology for all areas of pipe generation and build accountability and ownership for the use of standard processes
- Optimize interoperability and alignment of our core GTM teams - the interoperability of our GTM teams - Sales Development, core Sales, Solution Architects, Partners, Product Sales, Marketing
- Collaborate with AMER and APAC Sales Programs counterparts and drive the creation and deployment of a single sales programs strategy and standard methodologies
- Prioritize sales programs and plays selection based on market fit, providing seller insight to shape sales play design and collateral
- Proactively and continuously analyze pipeline performance, identifying the highest priority areas for action. Devise and implement tactics to accelerate pipeline quality and velocity to close
- Advise EMEA leadership on opportunities to understand regional nuances and leverage sales plays and programs
- Lead the cross-functional development of high impact global sales programs and plays
- Conduct retrospectives to continuously learn and iterate on sales program and play quality and impact
- Embed sales play execution and performance tracking into the standing rhythm of business. Conduct planning with Sales, SD Leadership, and Demand Generation on sales play roadmap

Stripe, nowadays a FinTech giant, spent the first few years since its founding building up its payments business, which primarily consisted of providing an API to eCommerce businesses so that they could easily integrate a payments option in their apps or websites, where before there was none.
More recently, Stripe has started to accelerate its growth with a significantly larger range of financial services including cash advances and credit cards. They also plan to build incorporation services, fraud protection, and more, diversifying its revenue away from payments and differentiating itself from its competitors.
To further expand its position, the company is looking to triple its presence in Ireland, and extend its services to countries with vast customer potential, including Brazil and India. Its latest venture, coming atop significant new funds, is to partner with OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT - a win-win collaboration that will monetize OpenAI’s flagship products and at the same time enhance Stripe with GPT-4, as it moves forwards with intentions to "build the payments foundation for tomorrow's AI economy."
