Who you are
- An upcoming student graduating in '27 or later, majoring in fields like Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering
- Able to work independently and proactively engage with business stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desirable
- Expertise in creating automated workflows via Python and knowledge of SQL
- Exposure to restful APIs via coursework, personal projects, etc
- A foundation in probability and statistics is a plus

- This EMEA-based internship sits within the Global Solutions Consultant team and focuses on developing AI-assisted smart reporting workflows, The role supports a strategic initiative for Dropbox Dash as workflows automation becomes increasingly important in 2026, with the goal of significantly reducing manual effort across Solutions Consulting and Customer Success

- Support the design and testing of AI-assisted smart reporting workflows, producing structured, AI-generated outcomes from discovery and implementation inputs
- Analyze existing planning and reporting processes to identify automation opportunities and efficiency gains
- Help define and standardize inputs, templates, and data structures that improve AI-generated reporting quality
- Collaborate with Solutions Consulting and Customer Success to gather feedback and validate output usability
- Assist in measuring impact, including time saved and quality improvements, and documenting project outcomes
- Contribute to internal documentation and enablement materials to support broader adoption of AI-driven reporting workflows
- For Summer 2026, we offer two start dates culminating in a 12-week internship:
- May 26 - August 14, 2026
- June 30 - Sep 18, 2026
Our take
Dropbox started by helping people bring together their files in one central place. The contents of these folders are synchronised to Dropbox's servers along with other computers and devices where the user has installed Dropbox, keeping the same files up-to-date across all devices.
Nowadays, there are lots of competing companies in cloud storage, and some with better distribution (e.g. Google and Apple). This explains why Dropbox is making a big push to reinvent itself after a fairly disappointing run since its IPO in 2018. The new Dropbox turns folders into "Spaces", which are collaboration hubs for teams, complete with comment streams, artificial intelligence tools and integrations into services such as Slack.
The company continues to build out its offerings through acquisitions, such as that of Formswift, bolstering its end-to-end agreement workflow capabilities. Indeed, It's very clear that Dropbox is trying to make a big move from being just a storage company. This seems to be a necessary move given the competitive nature of the industry it is operating within.
