Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent
- 10+ overall years of experience either in investor relations, buy-side or sell-side equity research with a focus on technology, and/or technology investment banking
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication, at an executive level
- Ability to build and articulate highly technical content in an easy-to-understand way
- Self-starter with a mindset for growth and a passion for continuous learning
- Strong leadership potential, high EQ, and proactive problem-solving approach
- Regular travel (1-3 trips per quarter), ~90% domestic and ~10% international, to attend investor conferences, company events, etc
- Experience with or ability to become an expert in FactSet and Alphasense
What the job involves
- Procore is looking for a seasoned Head of Investor Relations to join our team
- In this role, you’ll drive the vision for Procore’s investor relations program and strategy
- In partnership with the executive team, you’ll lead comprehensive messaging communicating our strategy and financials to the investor community
- Additionally, you will be the conduit between Wall Street and the company regarding Procore’s reputation within the investor community including identifying where we may better align to shareholder priorities
- This position reports to the VP of Finance and has the opportunity to be based out of any of our U.S. offices or work remotely with the expectation of frequent travel including to our offices and investor events
- Effectively articulate Procore’s financial performance, technology, and strategy in order to provide appropriate transparency and positioning in the market
- Build and develop strong relationships within the investor community and maintain open, two-way lines of communication
- Be highly responsive to, and proactively get in touch with, existing and prospective investors via digital and in-person interactions
- Help manage quarterly earnings and investor content, including developing themes to be presented, working closely with the CEO and CFO to communicate strategies, and drafting conference call scripts, decks, and Q&A materials
- Partner with communications, finance, marketing, legal, and executive team members on developing consistent, accurate content and messaging across constituencies
- Perform research and provide business, industry, peer, and market insights to key internal and external stakeholders
- Represent the investor community priorities to the executive team and Board of Directors
