- You’ve led and scaled growth at a high-growth startup or tech company, ideally within consumer or marketplace businesses

- You’ve built and led high-performing growth or product teams, creating a culture of ownership, curiosity and experimentation
- This is a high-impact role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution and a strong focus on data to drive decision-making
What the job involves
- As the VP of Growth, you will be a top executive at Bounce playing a crucial role in driving the expansion of Bounce’s customer base and market presence, along side our CEO - You’ll take ownership of the entire demand side of the business here at Bounce
- You will be responsible for leading and executing growth strategies across product/ product-led growth, various channels (including SEO and paid acquisition) as well as the exploration of emerging channels
- You’ll be at the forefront of accelerating our trajectory and building the engine that powers Bounce’s next phase of growth
- Drive Product-Led Growth: Own and evolve our approach to user growth by leveraging product as a key lever for acquisition, engagement, and retention. Champion experiments that create seamless, scalable, and self-reinforcing growth loops
- Shape and Execute Growth Strategy: Define and lead the long-term growth roadmap across customer touch points. Identify the biggest opportunities for step-change growth and move quickly to validate and scale them
- Think Big, Test Fast: Take a bold and iterative approach to discovering new growth vectors - whether it's through, distribution models, untapped segments, or products. Act like a founder with deep ownership of results
- Maximize Distribution Surface Area: Explore and unlock new ways for users to discover and adopt Bounce - from strategic integrations and partnerships to optimizing key discovery surfaces across digital and physical environments
- Data as a Compass: Use data to inform priorities, pressure-test assumptions, and drive decisions
- 10x Mentality: Operate with an ambitious mindset focused on outsized impact. Look beyond incremental gains to identify levers that unlock order-of-magnitude growth across markets and verticals
- Lead a High-Impact Team: Build, coach, and inspire a growth team that thrives on ownership, creativity and velocity. Create a space where experimentation is encouraged, and learnings are rapidly applied
- Operate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Leadership to align efforts and break down silos. Growth at Bounce is a team sport
Our take
Bounce is offering a convenient solution for travellers around the world who need to store their luggage temporarily. Founded by CEO Cody Candee, Bounce was born out of his own experiences of constantly being on the go and struggling to find a reliable and affordable way to store his luggage while exploring new cities.
With Bounce, travellers can easily find nearby locations to drop off their bags, freeing themselves of the burden of carrying heavy bags while sightseeing or attending business meetings, with users being able to book and pay for storage space through its website or mobile app.
Since its inception in 2018, Bounce has quickly grown to become a trusted and reliable option for luggage storage across the globe and now has locations in a number of major cities, including New York, London, Paris, Melbourne, and Tokyo. As the company continues to expand its reach and build its reputation, it is exploring new ways to enhance its services to better meet the needs of its customers.
